In the late ’40s, two gentlemen from Bedford Village, New York, had an idea. While working with their friends in carriage trade showrooms and design houses, they noticed that thousands of yards of second-quality fabrics were being thrown out or given away. These fabrics, called seconds, had only slight imperfections in printing or weaving, but could not be sold by fabric merchants. So in 1948, they opened a small store and named it Calico. Customers told their friends about the unbelievable values on designer fabrics, and Calico grew rapidly from coast to coast. In the next 60 years, Calico grew to offer the world’s best collection of both first- and second-quality decorative fabrics, along with an unparalleled array of customized home decorating services to make it all happen beautifully. And with over 70 stores nationwide, they’re still able to offer these fabrics at just a fraction of the regular retail price.

Calico Naples is staffed with experienced consultants that will help you select and coordinate fabrics to find the look and feel you’re seeking to complete your ideal rooms. Consultants can also arrange to have window treatments, slipcovers, bedspreads, and upholstery made and installed. If you’re unsure about how a particular color, pattern, or texture will look with your existing decor, you can have a swatch cut from the bolt or even take the entire bolt home. Jackie was a tremendous help We renovated three upstairs bedrooms and we were looking for new window treatments. We were not in Naples and so I wanted to work long distance to at least get some ideas of style and fabrics. Jackie was able to do with other competitors were not able to do. We only had 7-10 days to order product once we got down that could still make an install for the holidays. When we arrived at the store in early October Jackie a number of fabrics and fabric books selected. We brought them home over the weekend make our selection and Jackie came to the house the next week and we went over what we picked for fabric for the cornices and she helped us pick out trim and panels. Her quote was in the budget I had given her. All was ready when promised and the install went flawlessly. I would highly recommend Calico and Jackie if your looking for custom window treatments. Her previous experience in her own stores before moving down to Southwest Florida and working at Naples make her very valuable compared to what you find in most fabric/window treatment stores..

Highly Recommend Calico Naples
I have decorated a lot of homes and Calico Naples has a wonderful selection of fabrics, all price ranges, from their own line to high end. Everyone I dealt with at the store was great! Alex is fabulous . . . great taste, great design ideas, and had lots of patience with me!! I had upholstered king headboard done, loads of various size pillows for bedrooms and living room, and curtains. Cannot say enough great things about Alex and the entire store!!!

BARBARA in the Naples office was my mentor, salesperson, & professional guru; in other words, she was WONDERFUL! Patient, understanding, knowledgeable, a good listener, enthusiastic, talented and honest are just a few words I use to describe her. The shop is welcoming & well stocked with lovely fabrics for all home projects. I received my fabric beautifully wrapped from the store & the trim order arrived at my home prior to the stated date. The other employees were more than helpful, when Barbara was not scheduled at shop to work.

Fantastic customer service and great end product! Barbara helped me pick out the exact right fabric I needed to slipcover my worn ottomans. Since we were unable to be in town to drop off the ottomans to be slipcovered, she picked them up from our home and brought them back -- complete! Could not be happier with the finished product!!!

I had pillows made at Calico Corners, Naples. Great experience, knowledgeable, friendly staff and extensive options for selecting fabrics. Excellent workmanship. Will use them again and recommend to my friends.
